Inquiry Question:
How will my song affect others and make sure that a message is projected clearly?
Global Context:
Personal and cultural expression
Motivation and personal interests:

This was a very interesting topic for me to pursue for many reasons. Firstly I love singing at home and listening to music and I always wondered how hard would it to be to actually make a song of my own that sounded professional and showed/reflected a message. What interests me the most is how different notes or instruments can affect emotions in a human.

The previous experience I had to this project was little to none. I mean I knew basic components of making a song, such as lyrics and melody. However, with this limited knowledge, it wasn't enough to start making my song ad I still needed a strong emotion to latch on to in order to drive my project in a direction. This project has a minor connection to what I want to do in the future as I'm still debating whether to pursue a musical or mathematical career. Now on to planning the process.
Criteria:
Quantitative:
The song must have the following: lyrics, sung by me and a melody playing in the background.
The song must be created using a digital web based software (Soundtrap) and will be presented as an audio file as the finished product
The melody will be constructed from piano and strings
The song itself is going to consist of verse1, pre chorus, chorus, verse2, pre chorus, chorus, bridge, chorus.
Qualitative:
The song must have the intent to convey across the message of someone whose heart has been broken and he’s reminiscing on the past memories
After the song is made, the overall responses and rating of the songs should be the majority a good song to listen to and out of 10 should score above 6.
